T’Challa is the first African superhero. As the former King of the Wakanda kingdom and a veteran Avenger, Black Panther has super strength and speed along with many fortunes. He’s dedicated his life and abilities to serve all of mankind. He’s married to Storm from X-Men.

Storm (Ororo Munroe) 

Ororo Munroe first appeared in Giant-Size X-Men #1. Best known as a longtime member and sometimes leader of the X-Men, Storm is the former queen consort of Wakanda, a title once held by marriage to King T’Challa, better known as the Black Panther.

  1. I think Storm actually was born in Africa. Professor Xavier was pickpocketed by her when she was a child. (Yeah, I know stereotypes right.)

  2. Brandon Weaver Storm is African American. raised in Africa though. Her mother was an African priestess and father an American photojournalist. Storm is from Harlem, NY
