Know Your College

Learn the ins and outs of your college. Learn about online classes, academic clubs, meal plans, special events and everything else to make it easier for you. Some colleges have entire degree programs online that are extremely cheap compared to in-person classes. Also, don’t take unnecessary classes that will not help you get your degree. Find out what classes you need to take. Talk and build a relationship with your academic counselor.

Take Part in Student Activities

Learn to work hard and play harder. Attend school functions, meet new people, and try new things. Find people who like you for you. For most schools, students from the Student Government Association manage the student activity fee. This money goes to activities that you pay for whether you attend them or not. Don’t waste your money. Sometimes these school-sponsored events are worth the time and trouble.
