Many people avoid STEM fields because they were never good at math and science. There are multiple reasons many people flock to the humanities. In many situations, reading and writing aren’t as intense as mathematical calculation. The way that math and science are taught can ward students away because the subjects aren’t made appealing. There are new programs that are challenging and reinventing old teaching methods.
