As African economies gain momentum, democracy takes hold and the continent’s young population grows wealthier, investing in Africa becomes easier and more attractive to international investors.

Nigeria and Zambia are the top countries with the highest percentage (39.9 percent) of adults who are starting a business or have run it for less than 3.5 years. Malawi and Ghana come in third and fourth with 28.1 percent and 25.8 percent respectively.
