Swearing and Tourette’s Syndrome
There are only a small number of people who swear due to Tourette’s syndrome. There is a special tic for swearing called coprolalia. Most tics are related to movement of some kind.
The Brightest Star
Polaris is not the brightest star in the Northern night sky. It is Sirius. Polaris is important because it does not appear to move overnight. The reality is that Polaris is the brightest star in the constellation Ursa Minor. However, it is just the 45th brightest star in the night sky.
