There’s some daddy issues
Vic feels that his dad (who is a scientist) doesn’t pay attention to him. In the issue, Vic is experiencing some new changes and developments to his cybernetics. He goes to S.T.A.R Labs in Detroit to get tested and his dad treats him like any other experiment. There is no human emotion at all. It is clear that Vic’s dad loves his work too much and it has distanced him from his son.
