Okorafor is a Nigerian-American author and professor at Chicago State University. Among her successful books is “Zahrah the Windseeker.” The book won the Wole Soyinka Prize for Literature in Africa in 2005. Her book “The Shadow Speaker” won or was nominated for awards that include the Carl Brandon Parallax Award, a Booksense Pick for Winter and a Tiptree Honor Book in 2007-08. Her other books include “Who Fears Death” and “Long Juju Man.”
Okri is a Nigerian writer and poet. His book “The Famished Road” won the 1991 Man Booker Award. Okri is considered to be one the best African writers in the modern age. His works include: “Flowers and Shadows,” “Incident at the Shrine,” “The Landscapes Within,” “Songs of Enchantment” and “Stars of the New Curfew.”
