Phone Cases
Here’s a new way to really stick it to those middle-of-the-mall kiosks that refuse to let you window shop in peace. A 3-D printer is an easy way to create your very own cellphone case rather than pay nearly $10 for one from the stranger sitting in the middle of the mall. Printing novices will probably be pushing out some pretty simple designs, but experts like Janne Kyttanen have created modern, quirky designs for iPhones that double as card holders using nothing more than a 3-D printer. Unfortunately, if you want to buy the cases from Kyttanen, it’ll cost you more than $30. Perhaps the middle-of-the-mall guys weren’t so bad after all.
Light Fixtures
The same talented designer who created the collection of iPhone cases has also created a modern hanging lamp using only a 3-D printer. The light fixture has been deemed the Palm Lamp and comes in variety of sizes that can be used for hanging lights or a standing lamp.
