There are many versions of the invisibility cloak being developed worldwide. However, the most famous one was developed in 2006 by scientists at Duke University’s Pratt School of Engineering. In 2012, the researchers built the new cloak using copper and fiberglass strips that were divided into four quadrants, so that each strip meets its mirror image at each interface.
