Walker teaches courses at Hackbright Academy located in San Francisco. The academy is a programming school for women that teaches and empowers them to strive in the field of computer science. She also has her own startup called Philter that serves as an anonymous employee review site.

Mujhid has achieved a lot in her career. She has created websites, built defense software for Lockheed Martin and launched a startup called Black Founders that helps increase the number of Black tech entrepreneurs. She also works at Playpen Labs, a company that helps other companies develop software for their products.
