Directors
The news around Ava DuVernay, Joss Whedon and Edgar Wright proves that Kevin Feige does not care about the individual director’s vision. Directors have to play by the rules and play the game he wants and that has rubbed many directors the wrong way. Sadly, that also does not make any particular Marvel film uniquely a “Wright” or “DuVernay” film. The MCU is essentially a toy factory producing the same toy with a different color paint.
