The lemur is an animal that only exists on the eastern island nation of Madagascar. The term lemur is a collective term because there are an estimated 100 species living. The lemur is also a primate and relative to monkeys, apes and humans.
Addax
This is one of the top five most endangered species in all of Africa. The addax has an estimated population of about 300 and could be extinct in our lifetimes. Addaxes are native to Chad, Mauritania and Niger.
